Following your drinks reception and photographs, guests are welcomed into the beautifully dressed Terrace Room for your wedding breakfast. Seating up to 90 guests, the room can be arranged to suit your style, from classic elegance to a more relaxed celebration.

How many guests can you accommodate?
We can accommodate intimate celebrations as well as larger weddings. Our Terrace Room can host up to 90 guests for your wedding breakfast, with space for up to 150 guests for your evening reception when using the Terrace Room, lounge, bar, and outdoor terrace and lawn garden areas.
Can we hold both our ceremony and reception at the hotel?
Yes, the Plough & Harrow is licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to enjoy your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and evening celebration all in one location at the hotel.
Do you offer exclusive use?
Yes, we offer exclusive-use wedding packages where the hotel becomes your own private Victorian wedding venue for the day, including all public areas and all 44 bedrooms for guests to be accommodated overnight.
How many bedrooms do you have for guests?
The hotel has 44 en-suite bedrooms, including a bridal suite in the original Victorian building. We can offer accommodation for your family and friends so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebrations, stay overnight, and join you for breakfast the following day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Our Victorian interiors provide a beautiful indoor setting throughout the year. If outdoor photographs or drinks receptions are affected by weather, our team will help adapt the arrangements to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. We can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and most other dietary requirements. Please discuss any specific needs with our wedding team during the planning process.
Is there parking for guests?
Yes, the hotel offers on-site parking, making it easy for guests travelling from Birmingham and beyond. Guests booking direct with the hotel or attending a wedding can park free of charge.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
Yes, whilst we are happy to recommend trusted local suppliers, couples are welcome to use their own photographers, entertainers, florists, and other wedding professionals.
How late can our evening reception continue?
Our wedding team will discuss the latest finishing times available for your chosen package to ensure your celebration has plenty of time for dining, dancing, and making memories. Midnight is the preferred finishing time; however, if you wish to celebrate later, this can be discussed and arranged with our wedding team, up to 1:00 a.m.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular summer Saturdays can book up 12 to 24 months in advance, although we have availability for selected Fridays, Sundays, and midweek weddings throughout the year. Early enquiries to secure your preferred date are highly recommended.
